Booking
Once we’ve decided to work together, a booking contract and invoice will be sent to you via email. We’ll agree a start date and once your deposit invoice has been paid, a project timeline will be created. I always ask clients to be available for feedback during the process, so the timeline means the project moves along nicely!
Strategy & discovery
The next stage is all about getting to know you and your business and what your website goals are. I’ll send over some discovery questionnaires and we’ll get to know your ‘what’ and ‘why’ and those all important ideal clients and customers. We’ll think about the pages that you’ll need to really showcase everything you have to offer and any special features. This is also a good time to think about setting up your Squarespace account and buying any domain names you may need. I’ll also ask for your website copy and any imagery that you wish to use on your website.
Initial moodboards
& concepts
After the initial design stage has been completed, I’ll send across your first draft page designs. We’ll then discuss any changes required.
Refining stage to final concept
Here we’ll work through any changes and refine your website so it’s ready to go live.
Final files and launch
During the final stage, I’ll connect your domain to the website, transfer ownership across to you and add some basic SEO and page information. Your final project invoice will be issued alongside your website guide. You’ll then have everything you need to go live!

Building your brand can be a daunting process, but it should be fun and exciting at the same time. If you hire me, you can expect great communication and reliability, as well as a commitment to excellence, in every project I take on.Total cost
From £1200 + font licenses (if applicable) + Squarespace costs
I will send across a final quote once your brief and page structure has been decided. Payment is split into two payments - a deposit payment of 50% is taken before the start of your project and the remaining 50% will be invoiced along with your final files and brand guide being delivered. This splits the total cost of the project into two payments..

I currently use Squarespace as my go to platform for website design. It’s fully contained and works seamlessly, completely managed from top to bottom. This means there’s never any need to update software or plugins, making it really easy to manage. There’s so many benefits to using Squarespace. As well as your initial design and development costs, as with all website platforms, there is also hosting cost to consider. Squarespace offers simple plans and simple pricing, which means you only pay for what you really need. All plans come with award-winning 24/7 customer support. Change or cancel your plan at any time. During the project the majority of our communication will take place through email and digital forms, such as recorded screen shares. I’m happy to schedule calls to talk through strategy or any process questions but having everything either written down or recorded means generally nothing gets missed and important items can be re- read or replayed as needed.

Once the project is over, you will receive a handover guide with all the relevant information in to help you manage and add content to your website, as you need. I’m of course on hand should you wish to make any changes to your site as your business grows. Please note that any changes or amendments to your website, outside of the scope of the initial project will be chargeable.

Every Squarespace website is equipped with all the elements needed for a strong SEO strategy. Read more about understanding and execution of SEO here. Basic page descriptions will be added to each of your pages but I’m currently unable to offer full SEO support in house, therefore would recommend using a digital marketing agency or expert to help with this. You can also refer to the attached guide for more information.
